about seeding science
Why
A growing number of scientific institutions are initiating multi-partners collaborations in order
to tackle the challenges of drug discovery and development, translational research and personalised medicine.
This includes European or worldwide consortia, public-private partnerships as well as strategic
alliances. At the same time, internal resources are often limited and do not allow the optimal management
of the whole portfolio of collaborative projects and alliances.
At seeding science we believe a partnership needs care to be successful and fruitful for all partners.
We intend to help you nurture your relationships with your partners and maximise
the outputs of your alliances. Beyond operational capabilities throughout the
lifespan of alliances, we keep a strong focus on science.
Who
I founded seeding science after more than 10 years of experience in academic research and
in project management in biotech and pharma environments, and in particular after several years setting-up
and coordinating public-private partnerships. My main areas of expertise are in the fields of
oncology and immunology (cell signalling, biochemistry, preclinical drug
development, translational research and personalised medicine), although I have had the opportunity to manage
projects in multiple research fields and therapeutic areas.
In addition, my multidisciplinary initial training in basic physics, chemistry and biology at
the French ESPCI engineering school, will allow me to rapidly gain insight into you particular project. With
very good interpersonal skills and used to evolve in complex environments, I can easily interact with
collaborators having different expertise (legal department, communication, marketing, sales) in order to move
your project forward.
My goal is to put my enthusiasm, rigor in project management and passion for science and
medicine to the benefits of your projects and R&D activities. You would also benefit from my growing network
in the biomedical research field and knowledge of the European research environment. (Emilie Vinolo, CEO of
seeding science)
